In 1990 after Barbara graduated from the University of Michigan, with degrees in Political Science, Sociology and Psychology, she started her career in the financial services industry in Orange County, CA. and has successfully worked for over 27 years with firms such as Smith Barney, UBS and Merrill Lynch before she became president of Baumgartner Horvath Wealth Management.

In her past as well as in her current role as an LPL investment advisor representative, Barbara specializes in helping affluent client's with capital preservation, asset allocation strategies, managing taxes, inheritances, and charitable strategies.

Barbara finds her balance in active animal rescue through ARK Charities and many other rescue organizations. She is married and lives with her husband, dog and numerous foster dogs in Florida.
